Jungle Tots (3-6 years old)

Introducing kids to different activities from a young age is important for their development. Jungle Tots is a program for preschool and kindergarten aged kids that focuses on developing gross motor skills including coordination, flexibility, strength and speed. Research has proven that using a playing approach is ideal for this age group so they can learn new skills whilst having fun at the same time!

Classes are held on:

Saturday: 10.30-11:15am

Thursday: 3.45-4.30pm
Jungle Roos (7 years +)

Targeted at school-aged children, the Jungle Roos program further develops gross motor skills as well as adding martial arts into the program. Kids at this age are able to focus for longer periods of time so this is when an introduction to basic martial arts patterns is ideal. This involves developing attention, concentration and self-awareness as well as confidence, self-esteem, resilience and respect as part of their Martial Arts journey.
Children will learn physical techniques although the focus is in developing strategies involving self-control and problem solving.

All programs have the same intention in that they are aimed at gaining or improving self-confidence to overcome bullying that has become common in our society.

Classes are held on:

Saturday: 11.30-12.30pm

Thursday: 4.15 - 5.15pm

Jungle Martial Arts complements the education that our children are getting at school and improves social and individual interaction.

Discipline, perseverance, resilience and  self regulation are the skills that Jungle Martial arts has focus on . Based on my experience as PE Teacher  and my contact with martial arts for more than 35 years, I have observed the need that our young generation has to participate in extra curricular activities where they can interact with their little friends and really enjoy them . Jungle Martial Arts identified these activities and designed a program that is enjoyable, and satisfy their needs and wants.

Great customer satisfaction policy!!!

Adults can improve their fitness and learn martial arts by getting into kickboxing! Originally, the Jungle Kickboxing program was formed to encourage students’ mothers to keep active, fit and healthy. Requests by the mums’ partners saw the program extended to men as well so both women and men can learn kickboxing and get fit at the same time.

We have formed a strong connection with the participants so that successful end of terms are celebrated by getting together and having a delicious dinner together!
